Since 1985… a journey of experience and growth
1985
Where it began
Our journey began with a small shop called "Fares Al-Fatlawi Shops", specialising in skin and hair care products. Over the years our business grew to importing products from Turkey, then the United Arab Emirates, and on to China.
2006
Sarh Al-Janoub is founded
Sarh Al-Janoub General Trading Company was founded and opened its office in Yiwu, China, beginning a new chapter of direct importing: buying from Chinese suppliers and supplying the Iraqi market.
2019
Sourcing and supply services
We grew from importing products and selling them in the Iraqi market to sourcing, purchasing and supplying goods from China on our clients' behalf, across all kinds of products and trade sectors.
2026
Growth and going digital
Today the company runs three shops in Baghdad specialising in skin and hair care products, one of which is also the office for our sourcing and supply services from China.
Our client base stretches from Basra in the south to Zakho in the north.
In 2026 we launched our online system for managing client orders and price quotes and for tracking purchasing and inspection, as part of our ongoing work to improve our services and make doing business with us easier.
